Sunday, 15 August 2021 – RESTRICTIONS INCREASED FOR GREATER NSW

Dear Members,

Following yesterday’s announcement of further restrictions for Greater Sydney we would like to clarify the changes and how they affect golf at Richmond.

RESTRICTIONS INCREASED FOR GREATER NSW

  • New restrictions have been announced for Greater Sydney, effective from 12.01 am Monday, August 16th, 2021
  • Residents in Greater Sydney, including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour may now only shop and exercise within their own Local Government Area (LGA) or if outside their LGA, within 5km of their home
  • Note that golf is considered exercise
  • For those that need to leave their LGA for exercise, click here for a map to see if your golf Club is within 5km of your home

So for all our members who live within the Hawkesbury, golf can continue remembering that we need to follow the Covid-19 protocols when at the club and during your round. For members who live in a neighbouring LGA you must be within 5km of the course to comply with the new restrictions. If you are unsure of any of the points above please call the proshop for clarification before coming to the course.

Stay safe and let’s hope we can welcome all of our members back to the course in the near future.
